See Yourself as a DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer you will work with application developers, release management, the infrastructure IT team and business staff to oversee the code release, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing software to analyzing data to improve existing applications, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace. You should understand the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing build and deploy pipelines (CI/CD Pipelines). As DevOps Engineer you will establish and employ CI (Continuous Integration) tools such as Jenkins, Git, Nexus and Configuration Management Automation tools such as Chef to improve delivery speeds and efficiency. You should also be proficient with Cloud environments (AWS) and have strong experience programming in Ruby, PowerShell or Shell scripts.

1. Scripting: Ruby, Shell (Linux - Bash) or PowerShell (Windows)
2. Level 2 support, managing tickets from various IT and business units
3. Cloud Environment (AWS), CloudFormation Template and Terraform
4. Chef automation
5. DevOps tools chain - GitLab, Nexus and Jenkins

Your Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:

Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

Work Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience

Additional Qualifications:

1. Identify manual processes that can be automated
2. Maintain and improve Radian Cloud infrastructure
3. Guide application teams in designing, building, testing and deploying changes to existing software
4. Enhance Radian's IT infrastructure security and audit protocols
5. Flexibility, Collaboration and Scripting Skills

Preferred Education Level:

Masters Degree

Preferred Years of Prior Work-Related Experience:

3-5 years

Other Qualifications, including any special skills, capabilities, and competencies:

Mastering CI/CD Pipeline (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) and Automation of the environments (Cloud and OnPrem)

AWS Certified (preferred), other relevant technical certifications in DevOps related technologies

Competitive Compensation: anticipated base salary rate from $78,700 to $112,400 based on skills and experience. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program and a long-term incentive program.

Rest and Relaxation. This role is eligible for 20 days of paid time off annually, which is prorated in the year of hire based on hire date. In addition, based on your hire date, you will be eligible for 9 paid holidays + 2 floating holiday in support of our DEI culture.
