Job summary

Hamsa is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and manage our cloud infrastructure on AWS, enabling secure, scalable operations for millions of daily transactions.

You will collaborate with engineering to streamline CI/CD, enhance monitoring, and enforce security best practices, requiring strong scripting and hands-on AWS/Kubernetes experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience building, deploying, and managing highly scalable infrastructure.
• Expertise using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket pipeline, Jenkins, Spinnaker) in distributed environments.
• Expertise in Kubernetes for service orchestration and deployment.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Terraform, Python, Bash, or YAML.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency with source control systems like Bitbucket or GitHub and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with monitoring and logging frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps, including implementation of "shift-left security" and integration of security scanners into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
• Able to work with different cultures and communicate with international teams.

About The Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to collaborate on the design, automation, and management of our cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.
