Job Description

AI ECD Inc. is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment, automation, and maintenance of our applications on both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Alibaba Cloud, ensuring efficient CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management. This position is critical to our efforts to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure services that support our cutting-edge early childhood development tools leveraging generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and maintain applications and services across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Alibaba Cloud (Aliyun), leveraging services such as OTS, OSS, and Function Compute on Alibaba Cloud.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for both cloud platforms.
• Monitor and ensure the performance, scalability, and security of cloud-based services.
• Collaborate closely with development teams using Flutter and Python to streamline software delivery, improve performance, and enhance reliability.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and resolve performance bottlenecks across cloud infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud technologies, especially within GCP and Alibaba Cloud.

Minimum Requirements

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: At least 2 years of professional work experience in a technology company, excluding internships and academic experience.
• Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud, and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
• CI/CD Expertise: Proficient in setting up and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Github Actions, or similar tools.
• Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in both Chinese and English, as many Alibaba Cloud resources and documentation are in Chinese.
• Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automating cloud operations.

• Security Focus: In-depth understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, with proven experience in implementing secure cloud solutions.
• Scalability Expertise: Demonstrated ability to scale cloud infrastructure to handle growing user bases while optimizing performance and cost.
• Multi-Cloud Experience: Experience deploying and managing services across multiple cloud platforms (GCP, Alibaba Cloud) is highly valued.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional ability to work seamlessly across various teams, promoting synergy and effective communication.
