Job summary

Five Data Products And Solutions seeks an experienced DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud architectures. You will manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE/AKS), IaC with Terraform and Helm, and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, while ensuring security, observability, and compliant best practices across SaaS environments.

Skills Required

Cloud & Container Technologies

• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure.
• Expert hands-on experience with Kubernetes infrastructure management (EKS/GKE/AKS) and containerization using Docker.

Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD

• Proficient in Terraform and Helm chart management for environment orchestration.
• Mastery of GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration, runner management, and Git/Artifactory repositories.

Observability & Monitoring

• Hands-on experience building dashboarding and alerting stacks with Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, and OpsGenie.

Programming & Scripting

• Practical scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or Linux shell scripting for system automation.

Security & Compliance

• Understanding of IAM, cloud network security, vulnerability scanning tools, and compliance frameworks (SOC/ISO, NIST, GDPR).

Soft Skills & Methodology

• Strong technical problem-solving, architectural design, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work within matrixed Agile Scrum and SAFe delivery models.

Qualifications Required

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Masters degree is a plus).
• Overall Experience: Minimum 5+ years of overall experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure Automation.
• Kubernetes Experience: 3+ years of direct experience building and managing enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure in cloud environments.
• IaC Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience authoring and maintaining Terraform modules and Helm deployment scripts.
• CI/CD Experience: 3+ years of experience architecting and managing automated CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Scripting: 2+ years of experience utilizing Python or Shell scripting for operational automation.
