Job summary

SII Group USA is seeking a Senior DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to support a major customer engagement onsite in Tulsa, OK. This role focuses on cloud platform operations, CI/CD automation, infrastructure engineering, and secure scalable application delivery in a modern cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud roles, experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD, and a hands-on mindset to drive platform improvements on the customer premises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Masters preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SysOps, Software, API, or similar roles.
• Hands-on AWS and public cloud platforms experience.
• Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; Agile experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and support core platform components including API Management, reverse proxies, web services, CDN, WAF, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Development teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring and operational support processes.
• Coordinate releases, evergreen activities, and platform improvements.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across cloud, observability, security, and platform engineering.

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Own and support core platform components including API Management, reverse proxies, web services, CDN, WAF, and CI/CD pipelines
• Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Development teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring and operational support processes
• Coordinate releases, evergreen activities, and platform improvements
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across cloud, observability, security, and platform engineering

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required (Master preferred)
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SysOps Engineer, Software Engineer, API Engineer, or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• AWS and public cloud platforms
• REST APIs
• Event-driven / Pub-Sub architecture
• Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Java (preferred), scripting languages, and DevOps tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and EKS
• Experience working in Agile and continuous delivery environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven team player with a hands-on mindset and passion for modern software technologies
