Ascent Ready Talent Capital partners with a financial services client in Wisconsin to hire a DevOps Engineer responsible for how software is built, deployed, and maintained. This is infrastructure work, not application development, reporting to the VP of IT Infrastructure and Operations.

You will plan, deploy, and maintain solutions across on‑prem and cloud, build automated release processes, enforce security controls, set up monitoring, provide production support, and document your work.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in a highly automated software engineering environment, or 7+ without a technical degree.
• 3+ years writing code in an object oriented, functional, or scripting language.
• 2+ years running an orchestrated container environment.
• 1+ years building CI/CD pipelines.
• 1+ years standing up and maintaining web servers such as IIS or NGINX.
• 1+ years automating environment deployment with a tool like Terraform.
• Experience securing and monitoring a service oriented environment, such as a service mesh.
• Experience baking application security into automated solutions.
• Comfortable in an iterative delivery process.

Ascent Ready's client partner in the financial services arena is actively looking to onboard a DevOps engineer to own how software gets built, deployed, and maintained. This is infrastructure work, not application development reporting to the VP of IT Infrastructure and Operations. The DevOps Engineer will sit between development, security, and infrastructure teams, with the main objective of ensuring the technical environments stay stable, available, and iteratively automated.
