Minitab is seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to play a critical role in developing and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll be instrumental in driving the technology that supports our mission of empowering businesses worldwide to make better, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Deployment

  1. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
  2. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using industry-standard tools.
  3. Maintain and support environments critical to product development, ensuring they are stable, scalable, and aligned with continuous integration and delivery practices.
  4. Participate in an on-call rotation to manage urgent infrastructure issues and ensure high system reliability.

Change Management & Support

  1. Manage and execute change requests related to settings, permissions, and components across various systems and environments.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues with minimal disruption to service.
  3. Document procedures for handling support requests and issue resolutions.
  4. Communicate status updates clearly and effectively within the team and across departments.
  5. Participate in code reviews, providing and integrating constructive feedback.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of team commitments.
  7. Stay up to date with emerging tools, technologies, and best practices in the DevOps field.
  8. Continuously seek opportunities to improve infrastructure and deployment processes.
  9. Apply new learnings to enhance scalability, security, and efficiency across systems.

The role would ultimately be hybrid eligible
- Be in our State College, PA office for the first 6 months and
- Be in the on-call rotation by themselves (we pair them up on-call until they are comfortable)
After you would met the eligibility requirements you can request a max of 2 days hybrid
