Location: United States

• Solid knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, or similar distributions)
• Experience with system administration, troubleshooting, and analyzing logs
• Understanding of server and application security basics
• Hands-on experience with Git
• Basic understanding of CI/CD principles
• Ability to write simple automation scripts in bash
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana would be a big plus, but is not required
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is welcome, though not a mandatory skill
• Basic knowledge of databases and database administration would be helpful, but is not essential for this role
• Experience working with web servers such as Nginx, Traefik, or similar — ability to configure and troubleshoot them in real environments
• Install and configure software and operating systems following security best practices
• Administer Linux servers: identify and resolve system issues
• Maintain and configure development and testing environments
• Work with version control systems (Git)
• Support and build CI/CD pipelines
• Write and maintain basic bash scripts to automate routine tasks
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers
