Job summary

Gecko Technology in San Francisco seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to join the infrastructure team. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure, and build robust CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.

With 4+ years of experience, you will monitor performance, automate provisioning, and enforce security best practices while collaborating with development teams to improve deployment lead times and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
