Responsibilities

• Anticipate, diagnose and solve problems with our build infrastructure systems.
• Design and implement the deployment mechanisms for all of our applications and infrastructure builds.
• Enforce standards around application and infrastructure management.
• Proactively design monitoring solutions for the environment.
• Improve automation for provisioning and remediation of the platform.
• Design and build the framework for an isolated development environment.
• Work with development leads to create a single SDLC.
• Create real-time audit capabilities for all environments.
• Develop an inventory management solution for data centers.

Job description

• Anticipate, diagnose and solve problems with our build infrastructure systems
• Design and implement the deployment mechanisms for all of our applications and infrastructure builds
• Enforce the standards around application and infrastructure management and automate the build work to follow the model
• Proactively design monitoring solutions for our environment and work with support and infrastructure teams to build the process around escalations
• Improve automation around the provisioning and remediation of the platform required for the applications
• Design and build the framework for an isolated development environment which includes personal workstations and deployment capabilities
• Work with development leads to create a single SDLC and build the mechanisms to enforce the model
• Create a means to have real time audit capabilities for all environments which feeds into standard information aggregation solution
• Develop an inventory management solution to include the physical hardware in our data centers as well as the connectivity leveraged internally and externally
