Qualifications

• Strong programming and scripting skills with Node.js and Typescript.
• Expertise in automation tools and CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS monitoring and logging (CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Experience deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems at scale.
• Driven to automate repetitive tasks and improve processes.
• Proficient in AWS services (IAM, VPC, ECS).
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodeBuild).
• Operational experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Serverless Framework, CloudFormation).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Description

POSITION PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is, but is not limited to, supporting software development by managing tools and processes for efficient code deployment, ensuring smooth collaboration between development and operations teams. This person is responsible for automating systems, maintaining infrastructure, and optimizing software development practices.

POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• I.Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native, distributed, serverless architecture.
• II.Implement automation, observability, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
• III.Manage efficient and reliable CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments to help minimize developer friction
• IV.Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments.
• V.Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management, in conjunction with the SecOps team.
• VI.Improve system reliability through automation, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• VII.Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team.
• VIII.Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team.
• IX.Have on call responsibilities in rotation with the engineering team.
• X.Operate within our client's guidelines pursuant to the Employee Handbook and all Policies and Procedures
• XI.Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisor and/or Management

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
