Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Systems Development team. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.

You will monitor system performance, improve security, and enhance reliability through automation and observability, while evolving container orchestration with Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of IT experience are expected.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• Typically minimum of 2 years IT experience with complex technology solutions.

What you’ll own

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor and maintain QA automation/robotic testing lab
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive solutions.
• Enhance security and compliance across infrastructure and pipelines.
• Improve system reliability through automation and observability.
• Maintain and evolve container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, Docker Warm).
• Implement, maintain and improve platforms, identifying, and remediating vulnerabilities by using a variety of tools

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline
• Typically Minimum of 2 years years of experience in IT with expertise in complex technology solutions

It’s a bonus if you have

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
• Experience with pipeline technology (Harness, Jenkins, Azure DevOPs)
• Experience in QA
