About The Role
The role owns the infrastructure that keeps production systems running at scale - CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud environments serving real traffic around the clock.
The team treats reliability as a product: the role will build automation, harden observability, and drive SLO-based practices that reduce toil and improve uptime measurably.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) to ship services safely and frequently across multiple environments
- Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes workloads (EKS/GKE) with proper resource tuning, autoscaling, and network policies
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm, ensuring environments are reproducible and drift‑free
- Improve observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry - building dashboards, alert rules, and SLOs tied to user‑facing latency and error budgets
- Lead incident response for production outages, drive blameless postmortems, and implement fixes that prevent recurrence
- Optimize cloud costs (AWS) through right‑sizing, spot capacity strategies, and efficiency reviews with engineering teams
- Partner with application developers on containerization, service design, and secure deployment patterns
What We Are Looking For
- 3–7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles operating production systems at scale
- Deep hands‑on experience with Kubernetes in production, including troubleshooting workloads, ingress, and cluster upgrades
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
- Solid scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash
- Experience running CI/CD at scale and designing release strategies (blue/green, canary, feature flags)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), GitOps tooling (ArgoCD/Flux), chaos engineering, or FinOps practices; relevant certifications (CKA, AWS Solutions Architect)
