Job summary

HIRECLOUT in City of Industry, CA is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure with IaC, and strengthen the AWS-based cloud platform.

You will collaborate with software engineers to improve reliability, observability, and deployment processes, work in a hybrid environment with onsite collaboration, and contribute to containerized workloads using Kubernetes or ECS while adopting best security and performance practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of DevOps or infrastructure experience.
  • Linux with Windows exposure.
  • Strong AWS experience.
  • Kubernetes/ECS container orchestration.
  • IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu/CloudFormation/AWS CDK.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • Networking, VPN, distributed systems knowledge.
  • Databases with SQL fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: City of Industry, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable software delivery.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.
  • Improve system reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response processes.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to streamline deployments and improve developer productivity.
  • Implement infrastructure and application security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Optimize cloud architecture for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Support containerized environments using technologies such as Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
  • Maintain and improve networking, deployment, and platform reliability across production environments.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2 years of DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering experience supporting modern application environments.
  • Hands-on experience administering Linux environments with exposure to Windows systems.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or ECS.
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, cloud infrastructure, VPN connectivity, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases along with SQL fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Git, monitoring platforms, logging tools, and observability frameworks such as OpenTelemetry.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting modern SaaS applications.
  • Development experience with technologies such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, or CSS.
  • Exposure to additional cloud platforms including Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience implementing application security best practices.
  • Passion for continuous learning and adopting emerging technologies.
Compensation, Benefits And Perks
  • Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000
