Base pay range
$117,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
DocMe360 is looking for a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team on a project at the Department of Veteran Affairs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing infrastructure, automating the software delivery process, and ensuring system reliability and performance. This position may be contract, contract-to-hire, or direct hire.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software release process.
- Develop scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and identify issues
- Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance processes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Familiarity with Github Actions
- Experience with Terraform
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools like Datadog and Grafana
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
