Oncor seeks an experienced DevOps Solution Architect to join the Application Architecture & Reliability (AAR) team. The role provides deep DevOps/DevSecOps architecture expertise from an application perspective, shaping delivery patterns, standards and governance with a focus on GitLab CI/CD and OpenShift.

Formación

• Significant experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud engineering with senior technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of enterprise CI/CD architecture and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and reusable automation patterns.
• Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes-based delivery, IaC, and configuration automation.
• Understanding of application architecture and software lifecycle; ability to integrate automated testing & security into CI/CD.
• Familiarity with identity, secrets management, networks, artifact repos, and software supply-chain concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues spanning applications, pipelines, platforms, and security controls.
• Ability to influence technical outcomes across teams without direct ownership of underlying platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Define DevOps and DevSecOps architecture patterns for enterprise application delivery.
• Translate platform capabilities and governance into practical application delivery architectures.
• Define application-level CI/CD patterns, standards, reusable approaches, and guardrails.
• Ensure architecture covers build, test, deployment, configuration, operations, and supportability.
• Evaluate delivery architecture decisions and document trade-offs, risks, and dependencies.
• Provide deep technical expertise in GitLab and GitLab CI/CD.
• Define repository, branching, pipelines, runners, artifacts, and release workflows.
• Design scalable CI/CD pipeline structures and reusable components/templates.
• Guide teams on pipeline performance, reliability, security, and troubleshooting within enterprise standards.
