DevOps/Build Engineer – US Security Clearance

Contract

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: 12 months contract

Security Clearance: Must have US Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge on ALM processes like build automation for complex projects across different technologies (.Net, SharePoint, Azure, SSRS, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics AX, etc.)
• Identify areas for automation and optimization of the ALM processes
• Knowledge of TFS application and administration
• Experience in ITSM processes (Change management, Incident management, Problem management and Infrastructure Security)
• Participate in the delivery of complex ALM solutions as a technical individual contributor to various project teams
• Understand and analyze issues independently and use judgment to make decisions to run services optimally and/or restore services quickly in the event of a failure
• Strong communication skills
• Technical design, development and implementation decisions on the use of technology in areas of specialization
• Read, interpret, and develop technical specifications, diagrams and ALM blueprint
• Self-development in new Microsoft technologies according to professional development plan
• Perform highly complex application programming/systems development and support
• Perform highly complex configuration of business rules and technical parameters of software products
• Review business requirements and develop application design documentation
• Build technical components (e.g., Maximo objects, TRM Rules, Java extensions)
• Perform unit testing of components along with completing necessary documentation
• Support product test, user acceptance test, etc. as a member of the fix‑it team
• Employ consistent measurement techniques and include testing in project plans
• Manage the interrelationships among various projects or work objectives

• Version control concepts and technologies like TFVC, git, Subversion
• Popular CI solutions (TeamBuild, TeamCity, Jenkins) – configuring, scheduling & troubleshooting build pipelines
• All Visual DevOps tools – VSTS, Build vNext, RMO, Package Management, VSTS extensions, etc.
• Strong design and development skills on .Net technologies
