Job summary

Xebia is a global AI-first, digital transformation and engineering partner delivering scalable products, platforms, and data-driven solutions across 16 countries. We seek an AWS DevOps Engineer to guide teams, optimize CI/CD, and manage cloud and air-gapped on-premises infrastructure with a strong DevOps mindset.

You will collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement features, improve observability, and ensure reliable delivery in EU-region contexts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants to improve productivity in software delivery.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and Docker Swarm.
• Good knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, CloudFormation, VPC, Subnets, AMIs, ALBs, S3, ECR).
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, config management, and cloud principles.
• Experience in cloud and on-premises air-gapped environments.
• Good understanding of JSON.
• Familiarity with ELK Stack and Grafana for monitoring/observability.
• Experience with FortiGate firewall management.
• Understanding of Agile processes and a strong DevOps mindset.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaborative skills.
• Proactive in technical planning and continuous improvement.
• Good English communication skills (B2 level).

You will be:

• supporting development teams with product knowledge, technical guidance, and solution design,
• maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines and build environments,

Your profile:

• hands-on experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or in a similar role,
• practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery,
• practical experience with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Git, and CI/CD pipelines,
• experience with Docker and Docker Swarm,
• good knowledge of core AWS services, including EC2, CloudFormation, VPC, Subnets, AMIs, ALBs, S3, and ECR,
• understand Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure principles,
• experience working with both cloud and on-premises, air-gapped environments,
• a good understanding of JSON,
• familiarity with monitoring and observability solutions and have an appreciation of ELK Stack and Grafana,
• experience with firewall management, preferably FortiGate,
• understand Agile development processes and have a strong DevOps mindset,
• good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills,
• can provide technical guidance and collaborate effectively with development and infrastructure teams,
• proactive and comfortable contributing to technical planning and continuous improvement,
• good English communication skills (at least B2 level).

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
