Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a seasoned DevOps Architect to join a team of engineers building platform‑oriented infrastructure and tooling across security, governance, and R&D efficiency.

You will define architecture, collaborate with Product teams, and mentor peers while remaining hands‑on. The role requires 8+ years in infrastructure or platform development, strong Python/Groovy/Bash, and cloud experience (AWS preferred).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on technical experience as an infrastructure or platform developer.
• Strong development experience in Python, Groovy, and Bash.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with AWS preferred.
• Experience with containers and orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and IaC languages (Jenkins, Git, Terraform).
• Experience with the full application release cycle (CI/CD) and AI-based automations.
• Windows and Linux OS administration knowledge.
• Excellent design, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and requirements for initiatives to accelerate CI/CD productivity and security posture.
• Architect and maintain scalable, reliable internal tooling via infrastructure as code.
• Mentor and coach engineers, sharing best practices and technical leadership.
• Ensure code quality, delivery timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction across work.
• Manage projects from conception to delivery, including requirements gathering and planning.
