Job summary

Novocure Inc. is seeking a Device Support Specialist (DSS) in Columbus, OH. The role is field-based, full-time and exempt, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence three days per week.

The DSS educates patients and caregivers on TTFields therapy, conducts in-home/virtual visits, and manages travel and follow-up care to support treatment continuity. Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree (2–3 years) or Bachelor’s degree (1–2 years) with oncology or patient-facing healthcare

• Strong empathy and emotional intelligence; able to work independently in the field.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Deliver patient‑forward care by educating and supporting patients and caregivers on TTFields therapy
• Conduct in‑home, virtual, and occasional clinic visits to train patients, collect data, and troubleshoot equipment
• Manage your territory independently, including scheduling, travel, and follow‑up care

ABOUT YOU

• Associate’s degree with 2–3 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of experience
• Experience in oncology, clinical care, or a patient‑facing healthcare role strongly preferred
• Strong empathy, emotional intelligence, and ability to work independently in the field
• Comfort with frequent travel (~60%), including overnight stays and air travel
• Valid driver’s license, basic technical proficiency, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

WHAT WE OFFER

The pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $54,000- $63,000/yr. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
