Description:

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking an experienced Device Registered Nurse (RN) for our Outpatient Cardiology team.

Work Hours/Shift:

• Full-time
• 40 hours per week

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Providing services for the Atrial Fibrillation program, including care coordination for high-risk patients such as those with atrial fibrillation and cryptogenic stroke, referrals during hospital admission, and patient management during discharge and follow-up in the outpatient setting.
• Conducting pre-admission assessments, including labs, patient screening, medication reconciliation, patient education, and surgical instructions for upcoming procedures.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred; MSN or Nurse Navigator certification preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Connecticut.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Specialty certification; 3-4 years of clinical or hospital experience, preferably in cardiology, telemetry, or electrophysiology; experience with EKG interpretation and telephonic assessments; A-Fib experience highly preferred.
