Dragos, a global OT/IoT cybersecurity leader, seeks a Device Engineering Manager to lead the team building device intelligence: scanning, fingerprinting, and profiles across customer networks. You will guide reverse engineering efforts, set standards, and drive automation while collaborating with product managers and field teams.

This remote-first role supports North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC, with responsibility for production deployments and incident response.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience with Agile and cross-functional Product Teams.
• Strong technical background in software interacting with network-connected devices across embedded/IoT/OT-ICS endpoints.
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Python, relational databases, Docker, and Unix/Linux systems-level debugging.
• Direct experience leading reverse engineers on protocol or firmware analysis.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, and embedded/industrial protocols.
• Experience shipping software onto customer-managed or on-prem infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mentor a team of device engineers and reverse engineers, guiding growth and career development.
• Drive hiring and team growth to meet roadmap demands.
• Own the technical strategy for device coverage and reverse engineering investment.
• Set standards for reverse engineering outputs, documentation, fingerprints, and tests.
• Champion automation of repeatable work, from device-model authoring to data collection and test replay.
• Promote adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with product management to define scope and device support.
• Translate field needs into engineering outcomes across teams.
• Own production support for deployments, including on-prem environments and incident response.
• Foster device engineering and reverse engineering communities within the org.
• Maintain core technical competency by reading code and debugging production issues.
