Job summary

Apkudo is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for the Device AI team to build and maintain computer vision and ML pipelines powering automated cosmetic inspection and quality assessment at scale.

You will work across the full ML lifecycle from data exploration to deployment, with guidance from senior engineers, in a collaborative, production‑focused environment. Strong Python and CV experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (equivalent hands‑on experience can substitute).
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a closely related applied ML role.
• Solid Python proficiency, with experience writing production or near‑production code.
• Experience with Python image processing libraries and AWS lifecycle concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain components of computer vision and ML pipelines for automated visual inspection and quality grading.
• Support model development activities: data exploration, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
• Write clean, well‑tested Python code for production systems following team standards.
• Participate in code review and maintain model evaluation and monitoring tooling.
