Job summary

AssistIQ is seeking an experienced Computer Vision/AI Engineer to design and deploy scalable CV systems in a fast-growing healthcare technology environment. You will apply classical CV techniques and modern AI, delivering production-ready solutions that address real-world data challenges.

You will collaborate with product and engineering leads to translate problems into measurable CV/ML solutions, oversee end-to-end model lifecycles, and monitor systems in production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in software development.
• 3+ years’ experience building CV systems using Python or C++.
• Proficient in PyTorch.
• Experience with ML Ops for monitoring, logging, and maintaining deployed AI systems.
• Experience in life science, healthcare or technology industry is an asset.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world challenges into practical CV/ML solutions with measurable impact.
• Design and develop CV and vision-language solutions using classical techniques and modern AI approaches.
• Optimize, deploy, and support models across cloud and edge environments.
• Establish evaluation frameworks for CV and multimodal models with real-world metrics.
• Monitor deployed systems, debug issues, and refine models with new data or architectures.
• Stay up to date with emerging CV research and apply new techniques.
