Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP seeks an experienced DevEx Architect to join its Information Technology team. You will lead architecture, design, and build efforts for core application frameworks, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.

The role requires deep experience with containerization, cloud platforms, and infrastructure-as-code, plus mentoring and cross-functional collaboration to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GC).
• Proficiency with version control and CI/CD tooling.
• Hands-on containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of core application frameworks and tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Promote coding standards, security, and delivery workflows.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical oversight.
• Review code and ensure quality, performance, and security across frameworks.
• Own development toolchains and evaluate new technologies for reliability and productivity.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release automation across environments.
• Automate provisioning with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
• Enable container-based development and deployments with patterns for Docker/Kubernetes.
