Job summary

CLA is seeking an experienced DevEx Architect to join our Information Technology team in a pivotal role overseeing the development framework and platform engineering for application development. You will lead architecture, tooling, and CI/CD strategy to ensure stable, scalable deployments across environments.

The role requires deep practice in container-based development, code quality, security scanning, and collaboration with IT operations, QA, and business analysts to deliver reliable

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Degrees in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of core application frameworks and supporting tooling to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Establish and promote best practices for coding standards, design patterns, secure development, and software delivery workflows.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical oversight and support for professional development.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality, performance, and security of application frameworks.
• Own and evolve the development toolchain (source control, CI/CD, code quality, security scanning).
• Design, standardize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Partner with platform/operations teams to define environment standards and automate provisioning using IaC.
• Enable container-based development and deployments with Docker and Kubernetes templates and practices.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting standards; develop dashboards for rapid incident response.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to framework architecture and application integration.
• Document framework designs, decisions, and development processes for future reference.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide standards, templates, and guidance to improve delivery quality and repeatability.
• Manage framework team velocity, issues, risks and bottlenecks.
