Job summary

Life Time Inc. seeks an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to help提升 swimmers in our state-of-the-art pools, indoors and out. You will assist the Head Swim Team Coach with group workouts, register new participants, and help maintain a clean, orderly aquatic facility.

You will work in a fast-paced club environment, support the head coach, and promote Life Time products and programs while ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of swim coaching experience.
• ASCA member and USA Swimming member.
• Pass Life Time Swim Instructor Certification.
• Lifeguard certification to StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid.
• Able to work in a club setting and move around the facility.
• Able to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Able to lift 20 lbs continuously and more occasionally.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience:

• 1 year of swim coaching experience
• Member of ASCA
• Member of USA Swimming
• Successfully complete and pass Life Time Swim Instructor Certification
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• Lifeguard certification to StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first). For Canada, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification and Standard FA with CPR C.
• Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
• Must complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher
