Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must have six months of supervised experience with children with disabilities

Responsibilities

• Following programs written by Developmental Specialists to teach clients developmental skills
• Collecting data and documenting services after every visit
• Facilitating clients’ integration into the community by providing support and assistance during social activities
• Potentially providing personal care for clients, including toileting, oral hygiene care, and eating assistance
