Responsibilities
- Lead Day Habilitation Aides and support habilitative goals, ensuring individuals experience respect and safety.
- Provide skilled teaching, evaluate progress, and collaborate with teams and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all activities and outcomes.
- Focus on community integration, compliance, and human rights advocacy to shape independence and meaningful outcomes.
- Perform essential functions with or without accommodation, and provide reasonable accommodation when needed.
- Pass a background check, drug screening, and tuberculosis (TB) test.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with developmentally disabled individuals in a habilitative or vocational setting.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work collaboratively as an active member of multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility, openness, and responsiveness to ongoing industry changes.
- Capable of carrying/lifting supplies as needed.
- Physical ability to support community, gym, and pool activities.
