Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a Developmental Preschool Teacher to join a school-based team in Maricopa, Arizona. You will support preschool students with developmental delays in a structured classroom, implementing IEPs and adapting curriculum to diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities include one-on-one and small group instruction, tracking progress, communicating with parents and staff, and maintaining documentation in accordance with district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Active state licensure or certification or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Previous experience in schools or with children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a structured, school-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
• Modify curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide instruction in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Track student progress and update IEPs throughout the year.
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and IEP team members.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
