Inova Children's Multispecialty Clinic - Developmental Pediatric Physician

The Division of Developmental Pediatrics at Inova Children's Multispecialty Clinic in Fairfax, VA is recruiting a clinical physician for a full-time position. This team is home to an interdisciplinary program caring for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders through both diagnostic evaluations and longitudinal care. This includes developmental pediatricians and nurse practitioners, geneticists, psychologists, and speech-language pathologists. Programs and services may include Neurodevelopmental follow-up programs for infants born extremely premature and children who have undergone cardiac surgery or ECMO.

Developmental Pediatrics patients are seen in Fairfax, Virginia (proximity to Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital/Inova Fairfax Hospital) and via telemedicine. The developmental pediatrician will support learners as part of Inova Fairfax Pediatric Residency Program. There is an opportunity for faculty appointment opportunity at University of Virginia Medical School Inova Campus.

Developmental Pediatric Physician Position Details:

Additional Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of accredited Medical Doctorate Program (MD/DO).
  • Board Certification: Must be board certified or board eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
  • Certification: Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training; BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • Licensure: Currently hold or ability to obtain an unrestricted VA medical licensure.
  • Credentialing: Ability to obtain successful medical staff credentials at Inova's Children's Hospital.
