Job summary

NORTHEAST WASHINGTON ALLIANCE COUNSELING SERVICES is seeking a Developmental Disability Job Coach for a full-time, on-site role in Colville, Washington. The position supports DD clients through intake, planning, and community integration with on-site training and collaboration with families and providers.

The role may require night shifts, weekends, and holidays; driving is required and agency vehicles are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with vulnerable populations or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Advanced training in developmental disabilities subject matter preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake and assessment of clients and develop individualized service plans.
• Support participation in community activities related to client interests.
• Provide on-site assistance and training to meet employer expectations.
• Liaise with employers to remedy performance issues and barriers.
• Communicate with families, residential providers, partners and community organizations.
• Manage paperwork and progress reports; adapt to client needs outside normal work week.
