Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services seeks a Human Services Provider Prog Coord II (NS) at Caswell Developmental Center to coordinate active treatment and instruction for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves assessing skills, developing annual evaluations, and guiding interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field.
• Two years of experience providing professional or direct services to individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction consistent with regulations to promote growth in self-care, dining, domestic, communication/socialization, money management, and functional academics for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities.
• Assess skills on caseload using assessment tools and develop annual evaluations documented in EPIC for interdisciplinary teams.
• Train and supervise Educational Developmental Assistants and Direct Support staff on objectives, data collection, and documentation requirements.
• Develop curricula, activities, and schedules while collaborating with teams to create habilitation plans and individual life plans.
• Design supportive learning environments and oversee instructional service delivery to promote independence based on learner strengths and needs.
