Job summary

Terros Health’s Crisis Mobile Team is hiring a Developmental Disabilities Specialist for a Phoenix, AZ location. You will respond to crisis calls and provide crisis counseling to individuals and families, with a focus on stabilization and referrals.

The role requires driving in some cases and adherence to crisis protocols. Qualifications include a background in behavioral health, a relevant degree, or licensure eligibility, plus a valid Arizona driver license and fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma with 1.5 years of behavioral health experience.
• An associate’s degree in behavioral health or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health field or related field with BH experience.
• Masters degree in behavioral health field.
• Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls and provide phone and face-to-face crisis counseling to individuals and families during mental health crises.
• Assist with individual service plan development and person-centered planning.
• Develop emergency contact sheets and at-risk crisis plans and provide positive behavior support.
• Support transitions back to home or group home and administer emergency response per policy.
