Terros Health is hiring a Developmental Disabilities Specialist for its Phoenix Crisis Department. This full‑time role supports crisis counseling by phone and in person for children and adults, guiding families and caregivers through stabilization and referrals.

Qualified candidates bring a HS diploma or degree in behavioral health, AZ license or eligibility, and a valid AZ driver license. The team emphasizes integrity, compassion, and empowerment in care delivery.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma with 1.5 years of BH experience or an associate’s degree in BH.
• Bachelor’s degree (non-BH) with 1 year BH experience or a BH-related BA/BS.
• Bachelor’s degree in BH or Master’s in BH with AZ license or eligibility.
• Valid AZ Driver License, 21+, 4 years driving experience; meet Terros driving policy.
• Must have AZ Fingerprint Clearance card or apply within 7 working days.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls and planned interventions with phone and face‑to‑face crisis counseling for individuals and families during mental health crises.
• Support development of individual service plans; person-centered planning and CFT; emergency contact sheet development.
• Assist with transitions back to home/group home; administer emergency response per policies and procedures.
