Job summary

The Department of Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics. The Pediatrician will work with an interdisciplinary team serving children from birth to 22 years with autism, ADHD, learning challenges, and other developmental concerns.

The role emphasizes clinical assessment, care coordination, supervision of trainees, and opportunities for research

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.
• Licensed or eligible for MA medical license.
• Spanish language skills are highly desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic assessment in an academic medical center and satellite clinics.
• Perform cognitive, achievement, early development, adaptive, behavior, and/or autism evaluations.
• Provide long-term care coordination for children and families.
• Mentor and supervise interdisciplinary trainees including an ACGME DBP fellowship.
• Engage in potential research projects as a DBPNet site.
