Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in planning, Landscape Architecture, Engineering or related field with three-year relevant experience.
Master’s degree preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Review land disturbance permit plans and building plans for zoning compliance.
Conduct site visits and inspections for development reviews.
Prepare rezoning, variance, and special use permit applications and staff reports.
Research zoning codes and land use policies for internal reviews and public inquiries.
Draft annexation reports and zoning verification letters for stakeholders.
Assist the public with zoning questions at the front counter and via phone.
