Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning or closely related field.
• Three (3) years of planning, development, or civil engineering experience; or five (5)+ years of equivalent education and experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Leads Development Review Committee meetings and coordinates inter-departmental reviews and publishing of comments.
• Attends evening meetings and provides professional planning assistance on various land use projects.
• Performs field inspections to gather data relevant to development review processes and zoning report analysis.
• Conducts research and prepares statistical reports on land use, physical, social and economic issues.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable codes, ordinances, laws, and regulations; maintains GIS land-use layer.
