Job summary

Repsol Renewables Services North America (RRSNA) is seeking a Development Intern to join our dynamic team and support wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the U.S. This twelve-week program starts May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2026, in Downtown Houston.

Responsibilities include market research, creating development materials, maintaining databases, data entry, proposal responses, and coordinating public outreach events as part of cross-functional project teams.

Qualifications

• Passionate about renewable energy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Motivated, self-starter attitude.
• Open to any kind of undergraduate degree, preferably a rising Junior or Senior.

• Performing market, policy, legislative or technology research.
• Creating materials that support project development, including presentations and market analysis.
• Assisting project teams with maintaining databases and tracking reports.
• Performing data entry and analysis that supports project development and/or power marketing.
• Assisting with the preparation of responses to proposals.
• Helping coordinate and attend public outreach events; and
• Other tasks as assigned.

Company Profile

In the summer of 2021, Repsol expanded its renewables operations to the US through the acquisition of a large U.S.-based PV solar and battery storage project developer. This transaction was Repsol’s first foray into the U.S. renewables market. In 2024, Repsol made another strategic acquisition of ConnectGen from Quantum Capital Group. Repsol Renewables Services North America (“RRSNA”) is targeting to own and operate 3-4 GW of renewable capacity in North America by 2027.

This is a twelve (12) week program starting May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2026, in Downtown Houston.

• Assisting project teams with maintaining relevant databases and tracking reports.
• Performing data entry and analysis that supports project development and/or power marketing.
• Assisting with the preparation of responses to proposals.
• Helping coordinate and attend public outreach events; and
• Other tasks as assigned.
