Job summary

Repsol Renewables Services North America (RRSNA) is seeking a Development Intern to support utility-scale wind, solar and energy storage projects across the U.S. This twelve-week program runs May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2026, in Downtown Houston.

Key tasks include market, policy, and technology research; preparing materials and market analyses; assisting with project databases and data entry; supporting proposals and public outreach events.

Qualifications

• Passionate about renewable energy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Open to any kind of educational degrees, preferably a rising Junior or Senior.

Responsibilities

• Perform market, policy, legislative or technology research.
• Create materials that support project development, including presentations and market analysis.
• Assist project teams with maintaining databases and tracking reports.
• Perform data entry and analysis that supports project development and/or power marketing.
• Assist with preparation of responses to proposals.
• Coordinate and attend public outreach events; assist with other tasks as assigned.

Company Profile

In the summer of 2021, Repsol expanded its renewables operations to the US through the acquisition of a large U.S.-based PV solar and battery storage project developer. This transaction was Repsol's first foray into the U.S. renewables market. In 2024, Repsol made another strategic acquisition of ConnectGen from Quantum Capital Group. Repsol Renewables Services North America (“RRSNA”) is targeting to own and operate 3-4 GW of renewable capacity in North America by 2027. RRSNA is seeking a Development Intern to join our dynamic team and support the company’s growing utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the U.S. If you are passionate about working in a global, inclusive, and collaborative team to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for RRSNA and the communities we serve, we want to hear from you.
