Freddie Mac is seeking software engineers for applications development, prototyping, modeling and high level technical consulting in McLean, VA. You will perform what-if analyses to simulate network stress tests, predict effects of configuration changes, and identify bottlenecks to optimize performance.

The role often involves project leadership and acting as the principal customer contact on contracts. Multiple open positions; some roles may be eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a software engineering occupation.
• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus 3 years of experience in a software engineering occupation.
• Employer will accept any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of a U.S. degree.

Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines. Multiple open positions. Position may be eligible for part-time telecommuting.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree* in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a software engineering occupation.

OR

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree* in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus 3 years of experience in a software engineering occupation.

40 hours per week 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

Work location: 8200 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, VA 22102.

This position has a prevailing wage of $175,427 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
