Company Description Breakthrough Cincinnati Inc., founded in 1992, is an independent 501(c)3 organization focused on expanding educational opportunities for high-potential, underserved youth. The program serves students in grades 6 through 9, who are selected through a rigorous process that considers academic merit, educational goals, and risk factors. Over a four-year period, students engage in intensive academic and personal growth experiences guided by college-age Teaching Fellows using a distinctive “students-teaching-students” model. Breakthrough Cincinnati operates two program sites in the Greater Cincinnati area at Cincinnati Country Day and the University of Cincinnati, leveraging in‑kind support from host schools to direct fundraising efforts toward program operations.

Role Description Breakthrough Cincinnati is seeking a creative, competitive self-starter to join our team. We are expanding our organization to serve more students across Cincinnati, and we seek a partner to build our fundraising capacity to grow! You will lead our capacity building in the area of fundraising with individuals and foundations, corporate sponsorships, in‑kind giving, donor stewardship, data administration, and newsletter creation. Some of the projects include leading the fall and spring fundraising appeals, planning and execution of our sponsorship program, creating our monthly newsletter, grant writing, and the cultivation of new donors. The role is in the center of the action with our students, families, donors, and staff! We are a fun and smart group of student‑centered professionals and cannot wait to meet you! **Benefits include a monthly $200 housing stipend to supplement living costs.**
