Job summary

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in public or business administration, planning, or a related field.
Six (6) or more years of experience in public administration, planning, development and enforcement of regulations; four (4) or more years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the development review-related programs and activities of the Office of Planning and Zoning.
Oversee and manage the work program and staff of the Development Division.
Participate in setting department strategic goals and organizational structure; supervise professional, technical, and clerical staff.
Review expenditures and ensure budgetary compliance; represent the department at community meetings and hearings.
