Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in public or business administration, planning, or related field.
• Six or more years of experience in public administration, planning and enforcement of regulations.
• Four or more years of supervisory experience; valid Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing development review programs for the Office of Planning and Zoning.
• Direct and manage the Development Division staff and work program.
• Review budgetary needs, expenditures, and financial reporting with supervision.
• Represent the department at community meetings, council hearings, and related engagements.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and organizational structure improvements.
