Job summary

Harvard Hillel in Cambridge, MA seeks a Development Manager to lead fundraising operations and donor engagement across the organization. You will maintain databases, coordinate activities, and collaborate with departments to advance strategic initiatives while growing a dynamic philanthropic program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years non-profit fundraising or development experience preferred.
• Strong data-driven communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with fundraising databases and office software.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising success and maintain the fundraising management database and related online systems.
• Actively manage the fundraising management system (Donor Perfect) and related activities.
• Coordinate development activities across departments and ensure timely information flow.
• Plan and implement future fundraising activities guided by donor research.
• Own Harvard Hillel's grant portfolio and write proposals and budget narratives.
• Manage HEART and student engagement tools, event registrations, and surveys.
• Engage with Board of Directors and staff to steward gifts and pledges.
• Collaborate with Finance to track funds and reporting.
