Job summary

University of Pennsylvania seeks a Development Officer to bridge lower membership with major gifts, shaping new membership levels, and leading stewardship for donors giving between $500 and $9,999 annually.

The role collaborates with Membership and Individual Giving programs, supports a moves-management approach, and relies on CRM tools and data organization to grow the fundraising pipeline.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 1-2 years of experience in non-profit development required.
• 3+ years in non-profit development preferred.
• Familiar with non-profit development practices and infrastructure, as well as the basics of public media.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer activities influencing upper membership growth and leadership giving.
• Manage renewals, upgrades, and gifts for leadership annual giving levels.
• Coordinate with Individual Giving Officer on blended asks and major gifts.
• Identify and qualify donors for major gifts and hand off to senior fundraisers.
• Execute prospecting using Donor Search, Salesforce reporting and related tools.
