Job summary

Macdonald & Company in Memphis, TN is seeking a Development Manager to lead projects from initial site evaluation and pre-development through design, entitlements, construction, tenant improvements and final delivery. You will coordinate architects, civil, structural and MEP engineers, manage budgets and schedules, review pay applications and change orders, and drive value engineering.

This role offers a base salary, annual bonus, retirement plan with employer match and a flexible working

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in real estate, development or construction.
• Strong cost estimating, scheduling and contract administration.
• Experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Procore, Bluebeam or Microsoft Project experience.
• Exposure to industrial development and tilt-up construction.
• Experience with entitlements, permitting and municipal approvals.
• Background with private developers or owner's representatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pre-development through occupancy.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and GC teams throughout design and construction.
• Manage budgets, schedules and ownership reporting.
• Oversee entitlements, permitting and approvals with municipalities.
• Review pay applications, change orders and RFIs.
• Drive value engineering and constructability reviews.
