  • Strong understanding of land acquisition, entitlement, approvals and development processes.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, development budgets and financial models.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and proactively manage development risk.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a solutions-focused approach.

  • Support leasing and business development initiatives through site planning, project feasibility and proposal preparation.
  • Lead contractor procurement processes and assist with contract negotiations.
  • Monitor project performance, mitigate development risks and report on cost, schedule and quality metrics through construction delivery.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Manager to join a well-capitalised, vertically integrated real estate investment and development platform focused on industrial, logistics and e-commerce assets. Working alongside senior development leadership, you will play a key role in delivering high-profile development projects from land acquisition through to construction completion and asset stabilisation.

Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Development Manager will support the successful execution of industrial and logistics developments across the full project lifecycle. The Development Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and municipal authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

Profile

For the Development Manager we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Finance, Real Estate or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial real estate development.
  • Experience delivering industrial, logistics, e-commerce, distribution or data centre projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of land acquisition, entitlement, municipal approvals and development processes.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, development budgets and financial models.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
