Job summary

Continental Properties seeks a Development Manager to join our Development team at our Menomonee Falls, WI office. You will lead entitlement and permitting activities for 1-2 new multifamily developments, and oversee due diligence and negotiations with municipalities.

You will collaborate with land use attorneys, civil engineers, and architects across the project lifecycle, report to the Senior Development Director, and work in a hybrid model with three in-office days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field.
• Knowledge of zoning codes and municipal processes.
• Understanding of due diligence reports (wetlands, floodplains).

Responsibilities

• Lead entitlement and permitting activities for 1-2 new multi-family developments.
• Complete all due diligence responsibilities.
• Coordinate with local officials, community partners, landowners, and legal representatives to bring projects to completion.
• Participate in approval strategy with risk analysis and mitigation under guidance from leadership.
• Collaborate with internal teams including legal, accounting, finance, construction, and property management.
