The American Lung Association seeks a Development Manager to lead the Fight For Air Climb and other special events, cultivating sponsors, volunteers, and donors while managing budgets and timelines. You will inspire volunteers, coordinate with leadership, and drive revenue to support lung health research, education and advocacy.

Based in the Twin Cities metro area with a home‑based role, you will collaborate with executive leadership and event chairs to execute strategy, grow partnerships, and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Non-Profit Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ fundraising experience with emphasis on corporate partnerships, sponsorships or peer‑to‑peer fundraising.
• Demonstrated success in external relationship management and volunteer recruitment.
• Ability to travel within assigned area up to 40% and work irregular hours including evenings and weekends.

• Recruit and engage volunteer leaders, corporate sponsors, and participants to achieve revenue goals.
• Lead and cultivate the Fight For Air Climb Committee and sponsor relationships.
• Develop grassroots and corporate recruitment strategies to grow participation and revenue.

• Build relationships with partners, volunteers and donors through meetings and events.
• Monitor campaign progress and provide growth recommendations.
